Now that we are affiliated with NaSTA, we can take part in their annual conference and awards that are being hosted this year in Nottingham!
It’s the first time we will have been to this sort of event, so I’m hoping as many of our volunteers will want to come and support the team as possible. This is the official event page for the event from UPSU’s point of view, so I’ll keep you all up to date with anything NaSTA 2012 related.
Basically, this event gives us the opportunity to meet other stations from around the country, attend various workshops, meet industry contacts and have a hell of a good time partying. As well as the opportunity to win awards, there will be a full on gala awards ceremony (crack out your tuxedo’s lads, and find those red carpet dresses ladies!), with special celebrity hosts etc etc.
I would advise you to buy your tickets at your earliest convenience, as the price goes up and it sells out pretty quickly so I’ve heard.
