The deputy station manager works closely with the station manager to help coordinate the overall running of the UPSU TV. The deputy station manager will take on the responsibilities and powers of the station manager whenever they cannot be present and will be responsible for organising, coordinate and minuting committee meetings and other key meetings between the various TV departments.
There are two main responsibilities that the deputy station manager has independent of the station manager. The deputy station manager will work to make sure that UPSU TV covers key Union events such as Varsity and UPSU Elections and they will also be tasked with making sure that UPSU TV in constantly looking for and recruiting new volunteers.
