The station manager is responsible for overseeing the running of the station and coordinating the cooperative efforts of the individual departments within UPSU TV. The station manager will represent UPSU TV on the media exec and hand in reports on UPSU TVs development, activities and output on a monthly basis. The station manager will also make the most of media exec to work on cooperative projects with other parts of UPSU media.
They play a key role in the development and growth of UPSU TV and UPSU media as a whole. They will work with the VP Activities and the Student Media Coordinator to help in the creation of the 3 year plan for student media.
The station manager will also have a say over the content which UPSU TV produces, working with the deputy station manager to review pitches from directors/editors and approve their production and distribution.
The final role of the station manager is to effectively manage the UPSU TV committee, as station manager you will hold the other committee members to account. The station manager will be responsible for motivating and supporting the committee and helping them set and achieve targets in their individual areas as well as making sure they contribute towards the continued development of UPSU TV and UPSU media.
